My thought on the turn was to bet-fold. There's a fair chance this completed a straight or at least gave someone a pair of eights. I figured I have some fold-equity here. I'm not sure if my play was +EV or not.
The river was too scary to bet for value. Since I wasn't popped on the turn I thought there was a good chance he didn't have the straight. Maybe flush now, maybe just a pair on the flop and taking a stab here.
