I just heard that its possible to pay for MTTs and SNGs at PokerStars using FPPs. Does anyone know how this works? I have somethign like 24,000 FPPS that are growing mold. I never play at Stars anymore, but I would play some big tournies with these FPPs if its possible.
I clicked on a few MTTs and SNGs and when I clicked register, I didnt see any option to pay with FPPs.

It does not work the way you thought, Ice.
If you sort the ALL tourney tab by buy-in, you will see the FPP entry tourneys.
I do not see any FPP S'n'Gos though.

I believe the FPPs are MTTs only, and then mostly as an entry into a satellite for a big tournament. I'd be delighted if I could use FPPs for just the buyin fees on SNGs, but you know THAT's not going to happen.

So they have FPP MTTs, but not MTTs where you can pay the entry with FPPs right?
In other words, you cant just pick a $50+$5 MTT but pauy witrh FPPs instead. Well, I knew that already. I thought this was something new when the guy told me about it.

I think you have it correct Ice---Most all the FPP's are satellites to cash tournies (as far as I know)...For example, I played a 500 FPP on Saturday in which the top 9 players get in the 200 buck buy in-on Sunday... (No, I didn't make it !!) But the $200 buy in was $500K guaranteed, so it may well be worth your time, especially if you are still finding your usual NL a bit frustrating...

I'm gonna grab the chipset once I get enough points. I used a fair few round WCOOP time for satellites and have got books and caps and stuff in the past.
Generally the FPP MTTs are specials or yearly ones, like the WSOP and WCOOP sats.
