At What Point Do You Fear AK?

Just crushed the $1/$2 tables at Absolute tonight. Won $49.25 in 1 hour 10 minutes playing 2 tables. Been crushing them ever since I joined ($15.94 p/hour over 24.5 hours). Almost half of my pocket pairs turned into sets, but was I wrong to slow down on the following hand?

Should I have taken my foot off the guess thinking that maybe someone had limped w/ AK or kept firing away? Should I have capped the turn and led out on the river. After he checked the river I was pretty sure I won and had missed a bet or two.

Not as quickly as you. Especially with no pre flop raise. You don't get full houses often in Hold Em, make the most of it when you get em.

I would have capped the turn and called the river if he's still betting. With a better read on the player, I'd raise the river and call a 3-bet.

Dumb statement from me earlier. Obviously, he acted 1st on the river so the only bet I missed was the turn. Had no read on him, he wasn't at the table long and with out GT+ and PT it's hard to get reads on many players while multi-tabling unless they do something very noticeable. I also had just seen somebody limp w/ QQ at the other table so I may have thought that was a possibility after the turn.

I also just realized that the new Absolute hand history showed me his mucked cards, but I'm pretty sure he never showed them after the hand. That's kind of a big deal isn't it?
