Day 1
Well, I came home tonight and started my project. I started with the Gaming Club playing $.50/$1 limit. Let me tell you this game is LOOSE. Maybe I am just not used to that limit (I normally play $2/4 or $3/6). There was some good play and a lot of bad play eg. I saw a $12 pot won by a Queen-high, and the guy with the Q high bet and got called on the river. Unfortunately I only made $8. I was playing one 6max, and 1 full table. I was up about $35 but I started running not so good (QQ cracked by a guy raising me on the turn with just King-high spiked his King, set of 5's beat by a set of 7's, etc) Overall I am happy I won some and I played pretty well but got a little loose when I started losing. Not sure how many BRP's I gathered, as they don't update in real time.
Day 1: Start--$100
End--$108.56
played for about 2 hours.
Day 2
At the Gaming club you accumulate BRP's (like the frequent player points at Stars). For every 300 BRP's you accumulate (3 per raked hand) $20 of the sign up bonus is released to you, but there are limits of how many you can accumulate at the lower levels:
LEVEL/ BRP per hand/ Max BRP per level/
$0.25/$0.50 1 300
$0.50/$1.00 3 400
$1.00/$2.00 3 800
I cleared the 400 at $.50/1 so I have $20 in bonus $ coming but it hasn't been credited yet. One problem is that your total BRP's are not calculated in real time, so you have to wait until the next day to see where you are at.
I played $1/2 today and found the play to be about the same, but a little tighter than the $.50/1 tables. There was also some trapping which wasn't present in my play at the lower level. Against these people you WILL win if you play good hands and don't do anything fancy. ABC poker gets the $ at these tables.
Start: $100
End of Day 1: $108.56
End of Day 2: $164.55
Played about 3 hours. Total does not include $20 in bonus that has been cleared, as it has not been credited to my account yet.
