Could u please post all the formulas in order?

I mean

1. Move-up formula =
bankroll needed = 0.5 * CL * (DIFF SD^2)/(DIFF WR)


2. bankroll formula =
bankroll needed = (comfort level x standard deviation^2) / WR
comfort level = (bankroll needed x WR) / standard deviation^2


ARE THEY RIGHT?
I MEAN WHATS THE DIFERENCE BETWEEN THE ABOVE TWO, AND WHICH ONE TO USE, WHERE?
SEEMS TO ME THAT THE SECOND ONE IS THE MOVING-UP FORMULA AS WELL.

Wise:

You basically only need the "Bankroll Formula" and, if you report your SD and WR in ptbb, then your BR answer will be in ptbb (so double that number to get real $$).

My #s are:

Comfort: 4
SD: 50 (conservatively rounded up)
WR: 5 (this is conservatively low given RB)


So, this works out to giving me the 40x rule.

100NL = 4k
200NL = 8k
1000NL = 40k, etc.

As for moving up...taking shots when you have 60-70BI of your current level (take 6-10BI, which is 3-5BI of your next level) is a good idea if you want to be somewhat on the aggressive side (given a CL of 4).

As your CL decreases...so does your BR req.

Basically, the BR required for a given CL with SD 50 WR 5 is CL*10.
So, CL 2 = 20BI
CL 3 = 30BI
CL4 = 40BI

Drop the WR by half, and you double the BR req.

So, CL 4 WR2.5ptbb SD50ptbb and you need an 80BI BR.
