I write down in a composition book the date and plus or minus a number.
You build a bankroll out of the money won.

Money management is simple. You count your money when you leave the house and again when you get home.

Poker bankroll could be all the m'oney you have won in the last half year if you have it or that amount available. It is a confidence builder. Non poker players comment that they don't have money to gamble. If you have a nice poker bankroll made of poker winnings, you are parlaying your money or making money on money.

Bankrolls are built though steady winning, even if it is a series of small wins.
