Alright ... so let's say that I want to do some building by playing 5-man S&G's ... payout as follows:
1st: 2.5X buyin
2nd: 1.5X buyin
3rd: 1X buyin
4th: nil
5th: nada
I tried to punch these numbers into the Kelly formula in order to determine what % of roll I should be playing ... when I calculate it I get something like 30% of BR ... which seems a little high to me.
Any thoughts on this? I don't fear Risk of Ruin, so it's more a maximization effort here.
