The tables at Paradise seem really passive, but flops are usually seen 5+ handed in a FR 1/2 limit game. There aren't alot of raises, and you will also see more cold calls preflop than you will see at any other game I imagine. Sets are routinely raised on the flop and rarely slowplayed...in fact, I don't think I saw one slowplayed the whole time I played today. At the same time, they are a weaker hand because you have to slow down if flush draws and straight draws get there. Also, it seems there are a good amount of players who will see a turn with any pair to try and get trips which makes the game very good for set mining folks.
Horrible play was my legacy this night as I overplayed KK on a flop of T5T. Never overplay your PP's in CP and trust your instincts to throw away certain cards on the flop against certain opponents who will always lead with their sets(they are a good amount).Statistics: Posted by Danhdan — Fri Jul 21, 2006 2:44 am
