Now,another version that was popular for YEARS, was "Lazy" (aka: "Tahoe" ) Pineapple. In this version, you KEEP all cards. BUT, you can't play them ALL.
Yup, ATE dealt THAT game too! SUPER THREE PINEAPPLE, where, YES you could PLAY ALL THREE.
Ok, the better starting hands, for ANY pineapple game, are those that contain NO pair. . . . This is because you want to occupy cards on the board, if you don't . . . . YOUR OPPONENTS WILL.
Now, with smaller pair, small enough that you are not tempted to think that you can win without setting up, and a connection card, such as 10109s 998s Those are good.
Just DON"T think you have something, if the flop comes 2 3 7. You are going to be looking at SETS and OVERPAIRS, APLOMB!
Hands like KK2 QQ6, are deadly, IF you think that you have a hand, without making a set. Sure, sometimes an overpair can win, but if you take any HEAT at all, you are looking at SETACUS MAXIMUM.
Those hands, are usually going to win a small pot, or lose a big one.
In LAZY, it's important to have extra "features" as without a discard, it's now possible to have a two way hand.Statistics: Posted by AdamtheExpert — Fri Feb 18, 2005 8:56 pm
