Windows has a built in maintenece feature called Disk Cleanup.
This will probably free up 5-10GB if you have not run it before.
In windowsXP click START then All Programs
In Accessories, then system tools, there is a link to Disk Cleanup
Just having it run at its default settings should free up a bunch of space for you.
You might want to invest in a CDR/RW to take some of the files that you want to keep,
but hardly ever use, and back them up to a CD to free up even more space.
Decent CD burners are now down to 30 bucks and discs about 10 cents each.
Edit: having reread your post, this might not be the answer you need, but I will still leave it up anyway, someone might need this.Statistics: Posted by low dough — Mon Jan 17, 2005 1:48 am
