Hand 2, well it's not very good as you're almost certainly playing for half unless he was donking it up which, it just so happens, he was. Pot's not really big enough to get all in to chase 2nd nut low even with protection.
Hand 3 I don't think checking the turn's too bad. Probably got plenty of fold equity there mind you. If he has absolutely nothing you might still be able to force him out on the river, and you'd ideally not want to be raised if he has a straight (which, admittedly, is highly unlikely here). Fishing on the flop is fine. Raising turn is prob best but the way you played it wasn't too bad either.
Hand 4 errmmm why didn't you just rebuy? Or was it against the rules or something? Anyways, it's not a great hand PF (would prefer the ace to be suited) against significant heat but high only hands are pretty easy to play in O8 (hit it or forget it) and this falls into that category, so calling one raise is alright but if there's any danger of a raising war you need to wait for better. Flop plays itself pretty much, you may well be winning high unimproved if he has A plus low cards.Statistics: Posted by Felonius_Monk — Mon May 22, 2006 1:37 pm
