Anyways, Badger seems to be talking out of his anal passageway. Please don't play any form of limit poker with a 150BB bankroll unless you really like going broke.
Of course, "bankroll" is a kind of subjective term, depending on whether you can add more to it if you go broke (i.e. if you're playing 1/2, yeah you could probably buy in for $300 comfortably, because you know you can add more whenever you like because it's not that much money. If you're playing 20/40, for the average working man, that's a bit different). If you're learning the game and are not a winning player, you need an effectively infinite BR until you become a winner (salient hint - don't learn the game at high stakes unless you're rich, for obvious reasons). If you're a small winning player playing vaguely optimally (i.e. you have a reasonable level of aggression and don't merely nut-mine in the .50/1 game), and you don't want to be repleneshing your bankroll at any point, I would reckon you should be looking at 300BB.
