I came close to dragging a 1K pot. Even thought I am having success at this level, I think that I am going to head back to the PL 50 tables. I believe for you to be long term successfull at the higher tables, you have to put in more time playing than I am capable of as a stay at home dad. I am up over the time that I have played despite some bad run of luck/cards/etc, but I feel that a couple of unfortunate cards could swing that the other way. Of course, I thought I was done before this also but I saw MP1 from the first hand and had to see if he was going to give me more money.

Pre-flop: (9 players) teknipper is MP2 with
2 folds, MP1 calls, teknipper calls, 3 folds, SB calls, BB checks.
I was playing tight and was getting bored because I had not played a hand in 10 minutes.
Flop: ($16, 4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, MP1 bets $15.2, teknipper raises to $60.8, SB calls, BB folds, MP1 raises all-in $73.8, teknipper calls, SB calls.
The short stack had been pushing in spots like this with two pair, sets, etc. I figured that I had him beat here both ways and was trying to isolate by knocking out both the blind hands.
Turn: ($283, 2 players + 1 all-in - Main pot: $283)
SB checks, teknipper bets $280, SB calls.
The check there meant that I had the best hand at least one way. The only hand that he might have held to scare me was an Ace - 3 with a better flush draw. Even if he did, that would mean alot of flush cards were out.
River: ($843, 2 players + 1 all-in - Main pot: $283, Sidepot 1: $560)
SB raises all-in $43.97, teknipper calls.
Somehow this seems all to familiar. The quickness that he bet, I figured that I was going to 3/4 him for the side pot.
Results:
Final pot: $930.94
