I'm in BB with KsKhQs3h, so a fairly decent KK. 2 LP limpers with more or less full stacks, and same loose player to my right in SB, who has continued his downhill slide and is now at only $150 (he was over $400 when I arrived at the table).
Flop comes Jc8h5c, so I have my overpair with 2 runner-runner non-nut flushes, possible runner-runner straight, too. Loose player bets out the minimum, and I call.
Ok that's the one play. I seriously considered raising this weak bet here, but my problem is that I'm afraid one of the LP players may turn over some kind of real hand. The real problem with this call is that I don't look at all strong either, but I don't have a whole lot of hand anyway. Fortunately, both LP players fold, so now I'm play what's probably the best hand with position.
Turn is 8c. Ok, so I missed both of my runner-runner flushes, but loose SB (who seems to be giving me quite a bit of respect for the most part) checks. So I bet, and he folds.
Like or dislike?
Would anyone have called a pot-sized flop bet from a loose player with my hand?
