1: Your drawing to the nuts in every way. A raise to promote your draw is unnesssary. You might be knocking out someone who will pay you off with a second straight or second flush.
2: If everyone flat calls, then you are looking at a $36 pot. If the board bricks, you are going to call the pot sized bet IF it comes. If it doesnt come, then you get to see a free river. If it misses as well, then you get away with little damage.
3: If the pot sized bet comes on the turn and you make your hand on the river, they others will almost have to pay you off since you will be making a $10-$15 bet into a $75-$100 pot. If the river misses, you save $10 or so.
4: If you make your straight on the turn, then you might freeroll another straight with your flush draw.
With that said, I think you played the hand well. At worst case you are getting a coin flip. If you lose, those are advertisement dollars. REBUY!!!!!!!
I always love the "experts" who belittle plays like this without an understanding of the game. Quite frankly, I am seeing it more and more since the Party breakup. I think the general rudeness there has spread to the other sites since the US ban and is turning me off to poker. However, that is a subject for another post.
