I think you have to just go ahead and shove it in on the turn but with two opponents I don't feel great about it. Really you've just hamstrung yourself PF and should never be in the situation of playing a big pot with a double stack out of position with a hand where you don't really know where you are in relation to your opponents.

I really think what you do on the turn has a lot to do with your image and the image you want to cultivate. I'd probably fire pot again myself, but I can see arguments for the CR and even for a check-call... maybe--not completely sure whether I like that play or not.

I think I really like betting out the best. I think you're ahead most of the time and have good redraws if you're not. I'd bet pot, though, rather than $250. I'm assuming SB checked, and I'd prefer to have the deepest stack out of there. Button can then only call for remaining stack or fold.

What was your flop plan in case a raise came?

On the flop I like your bet. Noone will be able to put you on 2 pair, it's unlikely anyone has hit anything, and you will probably take down the pot. When you get called, I would think it's some sort of 6789 type hand with a decent draw.

The turn is a great card for you: they could have the 64 that beats you, but you have plenty of outs if they do. I would bet out here, probably for full pot, because I want to be seen to be betting out with good hands after I raise. This should allow you to take some pots down later on when you aren't hitting the flops so hard. I would be willing to get in on this turn because your hand is well disguised and they won't put you on it, someone may play back at you with a set (or worse?), and you have outs if you are behind.

Been away from poker for a bit but decided to share one of my latest grossly misplayed hands with you all. Don't remember much in the way of reads, the usual PLO500 crowd of shot-takers from below and hyper-aggros I'd think but not sure

Cryptologic
Pot Limit Omaha Ring game
Blinds: $2.50/$5
6 players

Stack sizes:
UTG: $511.75
UTG+1: $194.46
CO: $230.37
Button: $475
SB: $896.82
Anders: $1021.31

Pre-flop: (6 players) Anders is BB with [4d] [Ad] [8s] [5h]
UTG calls, 2 folds, Button calls, SB calls, Anders raises to $25, UTG calls, Button calls, SB calls.

Raise my decent(?) hand for deception. When typing this up, I'm not too thrilled building a big pot OOP, but if UTG and button folds I at least have position on the other big stack. Obviously they don't comply.

Flop: [8d] [2c] [5s] ($100, 4 players)
SB checks, Anders bets $100, UTG folds, Button calls, SB calls.

Top 2, gutshot to an idiot straight and a runner runner from OOP. I bet out here, not really wanting to give a free card, but not really liking it either. At least one guy behind me folds.

Turn: [3d] ($400, 3 players)

Probably the 5th best card in the deck for me. I just might be behind a 46 combo somewhere but have a lot of outs in that case.

Try a CR and hope button gets tricky and bluffs, bet something like $250 which
would hopefully pot-commit them if they call with or just bet pot and hope someone puts me on AA and plays back? Some different thing?

As usual, all comments appreciated.

/Anders
