Hand 2 - CR is OK if you know someone will bet it for you, but I prefer to bet out, it's easier to flush out top set/straight that way. I'm happy to win a small one here. Once CO re-raises you he surely has the straight unless you have a specific read on him to be an utter maniac, in which case your call is pretty marginal. Chance he's pushing with 66 too which would annhialate you. I think you could have got away from the hand there.
Hand 3 - Bit passive. Maybe you could raise the flop if he's the sort to bluff often but lay down when played back at. On the turn you should certainly raise if you think you're good, or MAYBE call-call if you really think he'll keep pushing garbage. I don't think your odds to chase your dubious outs are that great, so perhaps you could fold there. This is all kinda player-dependent and so i guess without knowing what he has you have to try to raise at some point to find out, or call all the way and hope. If he's half decent I think you should probably give it up on the turn; 7 plus any card 5 through T is beating you.Statistics: Posted by Felonius_Monk — Wed Apr 13, 2005 12:26 pm
