You're losing money because you're playing badly is my guess. I would think that you pay off too much, and don't get enough value when ahead. You would probably do better to chose either raise or fold a bit more often than call.
On your level a raise on the river means the nuts more often than not. In fact, a raise anywhere is usually the nuts unless it's a maniac doing the raising. If you respect that and play straight forward, you will win,
I'd suggest playing FR until you're a decent winner, then consider SH.
