Hand 2 - With so little money left to bet on the turn I just move all in here. You'll get called often enough by trips lower kicker, or even a hand like AAxx, to make it pay. If not, at least you have something like a 12-15% shot at outdrawing on the river.
You're right, these hands are tough to play on very short internet-style stacks. I wouldn't lose too much sleep over it. Just remember to watch out for cards that could connect someone's kicker (i.e. a Q on the turn after a flop of JJ4 is much more dangerous than a 7, if you hold AJxx), and remember that extra value is ALWAYS given to your hand by having outs (i.e. 889 flop, you're in much better shape with AKJ8 than with 8765 because of your shot at redrawing against someone holding 89).
