I'm not real fond of the check raise here. Anyone with the gutshot draw will happily check along, or if they decided to semi bluff on the flop, they will happily call your raise (getting in the order of 9-1 or 10-1 on their call at a minimum).
Also, if it is checked around and a low card comes off - now there's no way to thin out the field and take control of the hand.
Sure, one would think that the flop checking around is pretty rare with 7 opponents - but you and I both know that it happens all the time - especially in Omaha Hi/Lo.
Just for the record, I don't necessarily believe there is any one way to play this - but I am trying to come to grips with how others would play it - because my style hasn't seemed to be working lately...
