If you had a larger sample of hands that were showing a loss in later positions then I would point out that you are showing down winners 76% of the time UTG. Perhaps this could mean that when you play more cautiously and simply show down winners it works for you. Conversly raising with hands where the cards don't justify it and trying to win pots with aggression and position may be putting you in spots you aren't playing well.
If you wanted to look out for stuff. Do you use position as an excuse to make stupid calls post flop? Do you get in trouble post flop because you sometimes feel committed to trying to make a move for the pot when you maybe shouldn't? Is it possible that raising that loose, even with position, simply doesn't suit your style of play?
Thing is you are $56 up from the button and $36 down from the cut off playing very similarly according to the stats. The chances are very, very strong that these stats are just meaningless. One or 2 big pots could alter the figures dramatically so come back and look again after 20k hands or so.
My position figures looked very odd for a long time. I wouldn't even think about this till you play a lot more hands. It is more likely to mislead you than help you at this point.Statistics: Posted by Chips->Middle — Wed Feb 27, 2008 6:30 am
