- when you raised, did you expect to take it down? did you need to take it down to continue?
- there aren't a lot of turn cards that you'll REALLY like (four 6s), so either you want to get it all in or you don't. playing aggressively only to turn passive and hope to hit a big hand (some of which may not be good) is fucking ugly.
- against a bad player who overplays marginal hands, calling and value-betting when you hit might be a decent plan... but that's not the read.
- putting yourself in difficult situations like this from oop is -------------ev. i recommend keeping it simple (in the myriad ways that can be manifested).
