After months of saying I'd never do it, I finally jumped on the PartyPoker bandwagon. I had deposited $50 there months ago to grab a bonus and ended up netting all of like $3. I didn't care too much for the interface and even less for the players.
Well, the interface is still shitty, and so are the players, but for some reason now I like it. Maybe it's because I have yet to have a losing session. The play is that bad (or maybe I am just that freakin good). I did lose a stack to a guy who called my flopped set of queens with nothing but AAxx (yeah, he caught his 2 outer), but I made that back up within about 20 minutes.
The smack talk is actually pretty enjoyable. The fact that I can bet the pot on a flop of 245 and get 2 callers, then bet the pot again on the turn when a 7 comes and get 2 callers, then bet half the pot on the river when a 10 hits and get 2 callers is pretty cool. When I am the only one with A3 it makes it all that much cooler.
It seems like everybody will chase a flush draw to the ends of the earth, and I really mean everybody. The weird thing is, when you chase your own flush draw and it hits, they will still pay you off. Are they from another planet?
