As for the turn, I take your points and you're good arguments. Against most players I think it makes a lot of sense, but my feeling was that these guys are so loose the are unlikely to drop lower flushes and I prefer to take the lead in the hand and work from there. I think if no-one makes a move you have to bet either the turn or the river, so I'd marginally rather do it earlier and allow myself more decisions on the later streets. I think your arguments are very valid though and I'm certainly not going to say you're wrong! Just different ways of playing it I think, and I reckon both have their advantages. My way you make more if you win, but lose less if you lose!
