Anyhow, I think the hand in question is terribly close. A lot depends on your image and the opponent; without any additional info I'd lean towards calling down if you think he'll pay off something like a 1/3 pot bet on the river if you boat up. Another additional help (that would actually have killed you here!) is a diamond on the river, making a pot bet and pushing him off a straight. With my relatively tight image I'd be happy to make that play against many opponents, though I suspect your hyper-aggro image may be more of a help than a hindrance here.
Did you just call the turn or push? If you've been pushy and aggressive all along then I guess your image could work in your advantage - if you assume he has a straight, you can call for the boat if you think he'll make a petulant river push regardless what comes, as that gives you big implied odds.
Interesting hand, though. What do others think?
