second, mid wrap hands like 9987 with 3 to a suit isn't that great of a hand. If you hit your set, you are vunerable still. your flush is garbage as you have an extra of the suit and its only 9 high. I would possibly play that in late position for a limp. Don't get too attached to it. Hands like that and 5678 and such, you are looking for specific flops if not, you dump it.
I've always considered wrap features different than straight features.
