O8 is mostly a game played from the flop and beyond, unlike holdem. Even A234 double suited, a collosal O8 hand, is not that great heads up and loses a lot of equity compared to a multiway volume pot. The only hand that plays particularly well heads-up (and thus is worth getting all-in in a NL game) is AA with another wheel card, and partiucluarly AA2 (and particularly if one or both aces are suited!). Other big two-way hands with a high pair and A2 are probably worth playing that way also, if people are willing to call with weaker A2 holdings; you could consider this play with AQQ2 and AKK2 etc. Other than that, you don't want to move all in preflop very often.Statistics: Posted by Felonius_Monk — Sun Sep 18, 2005 5:15 pm
