Won $1,315 tonight; vast majority at Interpoker, where the E200 PLO tables delivered some big hands, all of which held up, and I only had two reversals at the 100 PLO - one of which when I shoved all in with a 50/50 hand and lost, and one when my top set nut flush draw lost on the river to a straight for a small-ish pot. I didn't make much at PLO8, which has been a good game for me this month at the 100 level, but I guess that didn't really matter after I won a $500+ pot with top set vs top two (against a notorious crypto fish), and then a (rather more fortunate) $500 pot with AAss... I made a small re-raise preflop, an opponent pushed back at me, and, because the pot was multiway, I was able to get $150 of my $220-odd in before the flop; he flopped a set of kings and a flush draw with his KKJJds, obviously I had to shove in my last scraps with AA and hit a beautiful bullet on the turn. After that, I enjoyed a few more decent hands, I can't remember any especially bad plays by me (I even had time to lose to a late one-outer on the PLO8 at Stars, where I'm still having an awful time) although I do feel I made maybe a few errors and still don't feel my game is quite at it's a-level. Puts me (I think) up to my second best month of the year, despite a 1k+ downswing last week.
Just wanted to share with everybody at BTP, it can be a cruel game at times but sometimes the highs are damn satisfying and it's nice to tear it up every once in a while.
I won more on the tables tonight than I did in the whole of August (not including the 800-odd bonuses I made then), lol
