There is a good LAG on the table who raises preflop with many cards and usually hammers the flop. He is MP in this hand, and has $180 behind. The EP player is really bad, and has almost a full stack. I cover both.
EP raises to $8. MP LAG flat calls, which means that he either has garbage or respects the raise. I call with [Jh][Qs][Kd], Everyone else folds.
Flop: [8c][Tc]. EP bets pot, MP calls, I call.
Turn: . EP checks, MP checks.
You take a free card here, or do you bet out on a semibluff to either steal or to remove flush draws? I put the EP bettor on an overpair (of course he can have the flush draw as well), and MP on nothing, since he would have bet or raised with a good draw or a made hand.
Anyway, I did bet the pot here, putting myself allin. To my dismal, EP called. MP folded.
Outcome: I got lucky and hit my straight, although EP didn't have much: JJQA, no flush draws.
