I did have a read on the guy but i didnt put it in the post. I dont have a read on him as aggressive/loose he is just somewhere in between. Ive seem him playing $25 PLO often and he is usually up money. So I figure he is a good player for $25 level.
When he debated for so long on the turn I figured the flush scared him so I was gonna bluff then. However, i put him on top/middle set so he might call anyways to chase a boat. Therefore, I decided the best time to bluff would be on the river where he has no way of improving (something I learned from The Book of Bluffs). I was going to just check the turn but that might raise suspicion when I BTP on the river. However, I wanted to leave enough behind him so he would fold to my river bet. Therefore, I made a small bet of $2 on the turn. And since the board didn't pair I BTP on the river.
Furthermore, when he just called the $2 immediately I knew he didnt have the flush because he would have thought about re-raising. He was happy that he could chase his boat for so cheap.
Results: Villian thought about it for about half of the clock then folded.Statistics: Posted by Spank_her_Pair — Tue Nov 29, 2005 2:19 pm
