1 - There are 5 hands, where if I win any 1 of them, I cash and at least pull out a win for the week and possibly a winning or even very profitable day. AK and KT were killers.
A - AK vs AJ and A7 all-in preflop where I came in 3rd.
B - JJ vs KTo EP limp/call. T on Turn and River.
C - QQ vs KTo EP limp/call again. K on flop.
D & E - The 2 AKs hands (vs TT and 77) posted above.

2 - I ran really well in Omaha last week. Even had a winning LO8 session on Saturday. But I ran so badly in NLHE and MTT's that I couldn't even capitalize on it and make it a winning week. So I feel that I wasted a heck of a run in PLO. Don't have time to post graphs, but I won most of the hands I got it in ahead and most of the coin flips too. Very frustrating having nothing to show for it, yet when I get hammered, I wonder if I'll run well somewhere else to make up for it. I can never get that hot streak in more than 1 game at a time.

Last week:
PLO+LO8: +$328.75 ($91 from LO8)
NLHE: (-$131.80)
MTT: (-$211.80)

An extremely busy week ahead with and without poker.
- I need 3 more days of 100pts on Full Tilt to qualify for Silver Iron Man and get a $200 mid-year bonus for July.
- I need a little over 800 FPP's on Stars for Gold and a $285 bonus.
- A bunch of house work both inside and out.
- I really want to get all of this out of the way by Thursday because I have one of my best friend's bachelor party in AC on Saturday and would like to take a 4 day weekend until next month.

We're going to Harrah's, even though I hate the company, cause that's where he wants to go (Borgata is too pricy for the group). So I plan on playing some live Saturday too, just not sure what. Anyway, should be a fun weekend with some old friends that I don't get to see much anymore since they got married. Or if I do, it's with the wives where they have to look for permission before they speak. Sometimes they'll look to see if she's paying attention and then whisper instead. And then I feel like I have to watch my behavior in front of them too sometimes. It's so sad.

Washed my hands of NLHE again for a few days after that horrid session on Wed. Played some PLO that night and got back a little over a stack. But yesterday I took my PLO beating. 2 stacks bled off to calling stations and middle/baby flush draws that just couldn't fold and 1 stack with top 2 + NFD < straight on the turn. But here's how you turn a potentially really bad day into about a break even day in just 2 lucky hands........

And if I had played this aggressively, as is my usual approach, I don't think I would have stacked him. There's nothing better than getting him to shove in over 100BB dead.

WTF is this? This is atrocious. He calls a c-bet with 9-hi. Then stacks off on the turn. Says he wasn't paying attention after the hand. Maybe that's what I gotta do because it works.

Hey, I finally found the guy who's willing to stack off without even thinking with a pair vs a preflop raiser. Think this would ever happen if I actually had AK....or even Aces?

So after 12K+ hands at NL$50 I've come to definitely believe that getting in with AK preflop, or even 4-betting with it, is a giant mistake.

PT3 Filter #1: AKs+AKo where I've 3-bet or 4-bet preflop and saw a flop

AKs 7x 57.14% -$72.20
AKo 28x 57.14% -$84.70

Total 35x 57.14% -$156.90

PT3 Filter #2: AKs+AKo 4-bets only

AKs 4x 50% -$77.95
AKo 8x 50% -$65.25

Total 12 50% -$143.20

PT3 Filter #3: TT+, AQs+, AKo when I 4-bet

AA 5x 80% $25.20
AKs 4x 50% -$77.95
AKo 8x 50% -$65.25
AQs 1x 0% -$52.85
KK 3x 66.67% -$33.10
QQ 3x 66.67% $76.65
JJ 2x 0% $99.25
TT 2x 0% -$110.30

Totals 28x 50% -$336.85

So even the bad players aren't stacking off, or even just 3-betting, as lightly as people would think.

1 for 25 flopping sets today and took that one down on the flop, so this prolonged set drought never seems to end.

$9.5K FT ($24+2)

I'm an imbecile. Guy had been in every pot, betting heavily so he open limps BTN, why would I think he's full of shit and middle pair was good here?
http://weaktight.com/234554

Then of course I pick up Aces 2 hands later and all 3 players with VP$IP's over 40 fold and I pick up the blinds.
And I still suck at coinflips....
http://weaktight.com/234557

I'm an imbecile part II. Stupid assumption again vs. a bad player. I was right he had trash, but his trash was better than mine. This was just a ship in after the coinflip.
http://weaktight.com/234561

MSOP #29 NLHE FT ($30+3)

I'm an imbecile part III. This shit only works against me. I forget I'm the only one who misses flops when I raise.
http://weaktight.com/234560

I'm an imbecile part IV. UTG raise, re-raise, shove. And I fold AQs.
http://weaktight.com/234571

I'm an imbecile part V. CO open-raise is never light. The re-steal is just plain stupid.
http://weaktight.com/234597

$100K Stars ($10+1)

I'm an imbecile part VI. Why? Why would I ever think? Why would I ever think A) He's folding to a large turn raise or B) he's ever not nailing the river after making a loose call.

They'll limp in from anywhere and no matter how big you raise from the blinds with AK/AQ (5x-7xBB) they'll call and they're going nowhere on the flop. Now if we could only hit a few of those hands.....

A little more positive than negative yesterday. So while it's certainly frustrating whiffing consistently with Ax and getting check/called to death, and then when the A does flop, but you don't have it, you get raised anyway, it eventually works out sometimes when you actually do get a hand or happen to get lucky.....because I deserve to get lucky sometimes too damn it!!!

I can't believe I actually thought about folding this hand on the flop. I got called all kinds of names after this....by the person who calls a raise with A8o and stacks off with a pair of 8's.

WTF is this??? This player was 8/8 over 73 hands too. Thank you?
http://weaktight.com/232130

WTF is this Part II?? Although this player was a lot looser and crazier - 34/26 - than the first guy. Thank you too?

This guy had been on my ass the entire session. Either call or raise to every bet I made. So here, I figured it was time to stick it in and when his bluff doesn't work, he decides to call anyway. I guess freerolling doesn't mean what I thought it meant. Cause I thought I was freerolling here. How the hell does he make this call with a bare OESD when he could be crushed?

This guy had re-raised me 3 consecutive times. I thought he was full of shit so I stuck it in with the bare NFD. I was wrong....which means I win. Although I wasn't really in that bad shape % wise......but that didn't stop him from calling me every name he could think of.
http://weaktight.com/232139

This guy tried to give me a math lesson afterward. Telling me about my odds and what I needed to call with only 1 card to come. When he was done, I asked him about implied odds (cause nobody folds) and he said those don't count. He might not even have the straight and check behind on the river.

Last Night

1 - 1hr PLO (-$33.30)

Check/cal check/call check/flush is good....over.....and over....and over. Nobody ever folds.

I did make one sick hero call that kept me from bleeding off more than a stack to the flush chasers.

http://weaktight.com/230752 - Every single draw missed. What are you repping here? Are you telling me you never raised KQ or a set on that board? Not likely. Not to mention his pot bet was out there the split second I hit the check button.

2 - 1hr4m NLHE +$122.60

Picked off a stack with AA in a 3-bet pot vs TT on a 937 flop. Turn was an 8 and my shove was giving him over 2.5-1 with 10 outs so I can't blame his stack off that much.

The donations were very generous after that. This might be the sickest, most generous donation I have ever been given.

Other donations.....
http://weaktight.com/230781 - A6o in a re-raised pot? Really?

QQ in a 3-bet pot, I get c/r'ed on a Q-hi flop. Sets are starting to hit. Unfortunately he folded to the shove. Must have had either JJ or AK.

http://weaktight.com/230855 - Cold called 3-bet preflop, calls off most his stack, folds river?

Donation not accepted.....
http://weaktight.com/230852 - Calls a raise with T4s and then calls the flop raise? About the only negative thing that happened this session.

3 - 46m PLO (-$22)

I somehow started feeling like I was becoming too passive during this session, only calling when I had big draws instead of sticking it in unless I was drawing to the double nuts or the like.

The next big hand that came up, I decided to stick it in with top+bottom pair, an overpair, + 2nd nut flush draw. Then the clown in the SB calls the raise cold and the raiser just so happens to have the nut flush draw, which he can't lay down once the other clown calls. So this imbecile in the SB pretty much cost me the fold and the pot. What a shitty turn making his Aces good now and that's exactly what hits on the river.

Not that I expect to win every 60/40, but what a god damn frustrating hand after talking myself back into being aggressive here, doing all the right things, and just getting F'ed in every possible way in this hand. This hand could have really turned it into a very good day.

4 - 37m NLHE (-$21.15)

- Set, stack a shortie.
- Raise AJ, flop an Ace (A2x) called by A2o.
- Flop middle set with str8 on board. Gotta play it fast. No action.
- Flop bottom set with str8+FD on board. Gotta play it fast. No action.
- Flop a set, stack a shortie.

Then these 2 which frustrated me so much that I quit after just a half hour.

http://weaktight.com/230905 - The only river he's getting paid on. I call out his hand on the river, but I pay it off anyway. That bet screamed "I have AK but I really want you to think it's a busted FD."

http://weaktight.com/230909 - This is just a big FU. I give up KK, which I figured was a no brainer, and neither one of them have an Ace. How do they both call that flop and nobody has an Ace? KT?

This Afternoon

5 - 1hr30m PLO +$48.80

NOBODY - EVER - FOLDS - EVER!!! Which really sucks when you can't make a damn hand. I have to bleed off a stack to 5-hi flush draws who call down and walk into a set on the river, then A2 who calls a flop bet with an Ace and hit running 2's, and whatever else they'll call down with before I finally hit a hand for a stack, just to make back what I bled off.

Then finally I catch another couple of hands after an hour or so to make it worth it.

http://weaktight.com/230972 - God damn good thing I hit this river cause I thought about trying to shove him off it because I had the [As].

http://weaktight.com/230974 - Wow did he play this hand like shit, thank you very much.
