We're down to 4-5 players at a full ring table at the Cryptos, playing $50 NL, late at night.
A basically bad player who loves to raise preflop to $3 (6xBB) does just that. I am sitting immediately behind him with KK and reraise to $8. He calls, then check/folds the flop.
About five hands later, he does it again, and I reraise to $8 again, this time with QQ. He calls, then check/folds the flop.
Maybe five hands later, he does it AGAIN, and I reraise to $8 AGAIN, with KK again. He calls, then check/folds the flop.
He left the table soon after that, along with everybody else. I couldn't believe the run of cards I had, or the wonderful timing. But of course it didn't even matter what cards I had. If I had any guts I could do this with any two. I made $24 off him -- almost half a stack -- without ever having to see a turn. Statistics: Posted by k3nt — Tue May 09, 2006 12:24 am
