I know it's just a standard bad beat, but after 6 straight hours of getting pounded from every direction, it really seemed like my moment had finally come...
I ($66) open raise with in EP for $3.
Short stack goes all in for $10.
BB ($69) flat calls. I think about pushing but I am a bit scared about the BB call, so I call to see a flop. BB has only been at the table for about 15 min and I did not observe anything significant about his play.
Flop ($29) is . Beautiful. The 2 most likely hands I can put him on are AA and QQ, maybe AK. He checks to me, I bet $10. He calls.
Turn ($49) is . He checks. I push in for $47. He quickly calls.
River is .
Villain shows and wins $143 pot with the flush.
I don't think I could have played it any differently. I could have bet more on the flop, but If he called my all in wihout hesitiation on the turn, I imagine he would have called it on the flop. Unless you think that by underbetting the flop I showed weakness that made him think his Q was good...Statistics: Posted by Pozzo — Tue Jun 06, 2006 6:33 pm
