My micro limit experiment is now officially over. I've lost 12 buy-ins in the last week and a half.
Couldn't get the converter to work so I'll try it this way.
Hand 7: [3c] MP1 (8 handed)
UTG limps, UTG+1 limps, Hero limps, MP2 raises 5xBB, Button calls 5xBB, SB folds, BB calls 5xBB, UTG calls 5xBB, UTG+1 folds, Hero calls 5xBB.
Flop [Qc][5c] (26.5 BB in pot)
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets 8BB, MP2 raises to 24BB, Button/BB/UTG all fold, Hero re-raises 97BB and is all-in, MP2 calls 42.5BB and is all-in.
I have 15 outs, a monster draw.
Turn (157.5 BB in pot)
Ok, now I have 20 outs.
River
MP2 shows [8h].
So this is the monster he raised with pre-flop and just couldn't give up.
But it gets better......
I actually won 2 decent sized pots and have 168.75 BB in my stack.
Hand 21: [Jd] SB (4 handed)
This is just SICK! Everyone has decided to leave the table and we are now 4 handed. I have 168.75 BB and only the Button has me covered. New player posts in CO and raises 5xBB. It's his 1st hand at the table. Button calls 5xBB (Button's stats through 21 hands 80.95VP$IP/28.57PFR/40WTSD - how the hell do you put him on a hand?) I call the 5xBB and BB calls 5xBB
Flop: [Js][4c] (20BB in pot)
All 4 of us are in the pot and I just flopped top set. I'll let someone bet and check-raise becauset here is a flush draw out there.
Hero checks, BB checks, CO bets 4xBB, Button calls 4xBB, Hero re-raises to 20xBB, BB calls 20xBB, CO calls 11xBB and is all-in, Button calls 20xBB.
WTF!!!
Turn: (95BB in pot)
Since they all just called, the only guy that could have had AA the way it was played is the shortest stack who raised pre-flop. This card didn't complete the flush so now I stand to win a HUGE sidepot. I really don't think he has AA either. This pot is mine
Since I know they will call almost anything now and the pot is large, Hero bets 144.25xBB and is all-in, BB calls 25xBB and is all-in, Button calls 144.25xBB.
River: (408.5BB in pot)
Hero shows [Jd] for set of Jacks.
BB shows [2c] for missed flush and straight draw.
CO shows [Ks] for pair of Kings.
Button shows [2d] for straight.
ARE YOU F'IN KIDDING ME? 4 PLAYERS ARE DEALT CARD AND WE ALL GET A NICE PIECE OF THE FLOP? SOMETHING SMELLS LIKE CRAP HERE!
We move to another table and actually pick up some pots before we end up picking up our favorite hand, Jacks again.
Hand 57: Hero has [Jh] UTG (7 handed)
Hero raise to 5xBB, MP calls 5xBB, all others fold.
Flop: [Td][9h] (11.5 BB in pot)
Of course an over-card, but at least an open ended straight.
Hero bets 11.5 BB, MP raises to 23 BB, Hero calls.
Turn: (57.5 BB in pot)
Hero checks, MP bets 40BB, Hero folds
F ME! AND F Jacks! Unless I ran into the one player that has a clue here, pocket Jacks are no good again.
Hand 61: Hero has [Tc] in CO (7 handed)
UTG limps, Hero raises to 5xBB (just looking to steal one here, maybe with 1 player and a c-bet), Button/SB fold, BB calls 5xBB, UTG folds.
Flop: [Ac][8c] (11.5 BB in pot)
BB checks, Hero bets 8xBB, BB calls 8xBB
This looked like a good flop for me to c-bet and I did hit middle pair, but since he called I think he may have a small Ace that he doesn't want to let go of so I may have to give up if I don't improve.
Turn: (27 BB in pot)
Check, check.
River: (27 BB in pot)
BB bets 8xBB (thinks his small Ace is good), Hero raises to 40xBB, BB calls 21xBB and is all-in.
Hero shows [Tc] for 2 pair.
BB shows [Ks] for better 2 pair.
Again of course. Who plays AK like this? F' ME
Again I win a few decent pots and actually bolster the stack slightly until this amazing hand shows up.
Hand 91: Hero has [3d] in MP1 (8 handed)
UTG limps, UTG+1 limps, Hero limps, MP2 limps, CO limps, But limps, SB completes, BB checks. Everybody's in.
Flop: [7d][3s] (8 BB in pot)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG folds, UTG+1 checks, Hero bets 4xBB, MP2 folds, CO calls 4xBB, Button folds, SB folds, BB calls 4xBB, UTG+1 checks.
Turn: (20 BB in pot)
Now I know I should slow down here, but I am playing against idiots who call with anything. Maybe someone else has a worse 3, but I have to be ahead here cause this crap can't happen again in less than 100 hands.
BB checks, Hero bets16xBB, CO raises to 41xBB, BB calls 41xBB, Hero says FU goes on massive tilt and raises to 130xBB because he has to be against an overpair and a worse 3 or a complete idiot. He's had ENOUGH tonite already, CO calls 66.75xBB and is all-in, BB calls 130xBB.
River: .
Hero shows [3d] for 3 of a kind, A kicker.
CO shows [3h] for 3 of a kind, A kicker.
BB and big stack shows [7s] and Hero is the complete IDIOT!
Hero re-loads to 200BB with the last of the money left in his Doyle's room account and actually wins back 50BB. Then his last and 108th hand of the night.
Hand 108: Hero has [Kd] in MP2 (8 handed)
UTG limps, UTG+1 limps, MP1 folds, Hero raises to 10xBB, CO/But/SB/BB fold, UTG calls 10xBB, UTG+1 calls 10xBB.
Flop: [2d][Th] (31.5 BB in pot)
Good flop, I'm go all out on this one
UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, Hero bets 30xBB, UTG folds, UTG+1 calls 30xBB.
Now would be a good time to say that UTG+1 had 77.9%VP$IP after 39 hands and 52% WTSD.
Turn: (91.5 BB in pot)
UTG+1 checks, Hero bets 62.5xBB because the jackass is gonna pay for his flush draw!!!, UTG+1 calls 62.5xBB.
River: (216.5 BB in pot)
UTG+1 bets 37.5xBB and is all-in, Hero knows he did everything right, but once again was drawn out on and has to pay off 37.5xBB so Hero calls.
Hero shows [Kd] for pair of Kings.
F'in Jerry's Kid Reject shows [9c] for a MOTHER F***in RUNNER RUNNER GUTSHOT STRAIGHT WHEN HE HAD on the flop.
Hero says and throws his computer chair against the wall.Statistics: Posted by MTPaid — Thu Jun 22, 2006 8:15 pm
