I don't have enough time, so I'm not going to use those schnazzy graphics.
I'm in LP with 88. Ep calls, folds around to me and I make it $1.5, folds around to EP limper and he calls.
Flop is 47T, two clubs. Pot's about $3.
He checks, I bet $2, he raises me to $8, I push for the rest, he folds.
He typed "I only had 66".
This guy was definitely on tilt. I was at another table with him about 5 minutes earlier and he lost 2 pots back to back and pissed his deep stack away. I'm not sure if he was tilting before that, but when he lost everything, he was definitely on steam.
Also, at that same table, I raised with 76s UTG and he called. He called my CB on the flop, and then when I checked to him on the turn, he bet 3/4 and I folded. I think he thought I was a bit of a pushover.
At my other table, I hadn't played a hand yet. The table was pretty passive and a few guys were taking advantage, raising about every other hand and then taking down the pot with a CB.
I had T6s in the BB. UTG, one of the chronic raisers, raised to $1. It folded around to me and I RR to $3.5. He called.
Flop was 64T, two hearts. Pot was around $7.
I led for $6 and he called.
Turn was an X and I checked, he checked.
River was an X and I value bet for $8 and he folded. I put him on AK and thought a bet like that might get A high to call, thinking I was bluffing. He typed in the chat box "I hate AK", so I'm assuming that's what he had.
In NLTAP I just got finished with the chapter talking about semi bluffing with the best of the hands you would typically fold (Like a J2, K5, T6s, etc) for deception. I'm not sure I would regularly do this at my limit, but I think in this situation I picked a good spot.Statistics: Posted by kcb — Sat Jul 29, 2006 2:19 pm
