We're 8 seated and I'm in middle position. I have $105. Villain has me covered, and is on my immediate right. Folds to villain who limps. I raise to $4.50 with [Ts]. All fold back to villain who calls.
Pot $10.00. Flop [Tc][2d]. Villain checks. I bet $4.50. I'm trying to look weak on purpose, because I'd really like for him to bet, either for a steal or with a hand like 88. Villain obliges and raises me to $10. I flat call. There really is no card that scares me here, and I have position, so I just decide to see if I can get him to lead the turn.
Pot $29. Turn . Villain bets $15. I raise to $30. Villain calls. At this point I think he's got a Q...maybe KQ...but it could be a draw that he was betting as a semibluff on the turn, something like AJ of clubs, which is of course great for me if he hits it.
Pot is $89. River is . I have $61 left. Villain checks. I have $61 left. I'm not sure he'd check KQ here unless he's trying to induce a bluff and planning a check call.
How was my betting until this point? What's my bet now? Do I shove or try to milk a smaller bet?Statistics: Posted by mike_m235 — Tue Jun 06, 2006 6:29 am
