hand 2 - i need a read to bet this turn, but you're right, there is a lot more floating going on at NL200 than there was at NL100.
hand 3 - re-raise or fold the flop, i dislike your call for a few reasons. unless the villian was on a complete bluff you're not going to get anymore out of him if he has a worse hand, however he'll bet hands that beat you and you'll feel obliged to call down (as you did). also you get to find out if he has a monster for a lot cheaper. that river bet is a valuebet if i've ever seen one, i think the issue in this hand was the flop though. anyway, making it $40 on the flop will almost guarantee you a free river if he calls and if he raises it's an easy fold. if he calls and leads the turn it's an easy fold. if the turn/river aren't terrible you can consider calling a bet on the river, but i think in most cases it's best to fold to a bet by him, as QJ/QT/Q9 will check hoping to get a free/cheap showdown. if he bluffs you off the hand then props to him.Statistics: Posted by GodlikeRoy — Wed Jun 21, 2006 11:05 am
