In hand one hero did not reraise preflop, merely put in a raise. Thus, his range (in his opponent's eyes) is much wider than a big pair. If there was a preflop reraise and villian showed strength, I would suggest folding the turn. In this case, villian can have a wide range of hands, including the FD, kx, pp... I think calling down here is not a bad choice. Folding the turn would be, of course, less variance and would follow iceman's whole beware the minraise thing.

My reason for calling down here is that the minraise from this opponent doesn't necessarily entail a good hand, as al concluded due to prior hands.

Calling and folding are valid, in my opinion. Raising the flop is not really a good idea though.

I'm not an experienced player, but I believe that I can classify the NL25 LAGs I play against on the meaning of their min-raises. This guy had made a min-reraise hiting a tp playing a previous hand and many lags at lower limits would do the same because they read somewhere that agerssion is good.

I know that i cant say that the FE is big just because of that but since you have position on him ,you can fold (or not ) to AI reraise, or you can avoid a difficult turn decision like the one faced cause he would check the turn a lot o times. Its better to re-raise the flop than call the turn bet without knowing were you are.

After the flop hero is behind A6s and KK ( and 66 ).

2: Hero checks-behind on turn and calls up to pot on river.

3: I think I fold this on the turn: you may be drawing dead suddenly, or very thin to outs that may fill him up and make you lose your stack. Best to just fold here.

Here are three from just now:

I think they all take strong lines against me, but there is history that muddy the waters...

--------------Hand 1

Only seen 1 hand with this player, where he 3-bet pre-flop with [Kd][Qd], led into the flop (TT6), min-reraised a min raise, and then pushed the blank turn (his opponent calls with 99 and villain rivers a Q).

Thoughts on my flop line? If you call turn you're committed to the river, so the only options seem to be:
a) fold
b) call turn, call river
c) shove turn

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (5 handed) from (Format: Bet The Pot)

SB ($727.60)
BB ($403.60)
UTG ($92.20)
Hero ($426.90)
Button ($470.40)

Preflop: Hero is MP with [Ah], [Ac].
1 fold, Hero raises to $14, 1 fold, SB calls $12, 1 fold.

Flop: ($32) [6h], [6d], [Kh] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $24, SB raises to $48, Hero calls $24.

Turn: ($128) [9d] (2 players)
SB bets $144,

--------------Hand 2

Different table, different villain. This guy has donkish stats (45/10), but the only hand I noticed he called a raise with J6 against a $200 stack, led into a jack high flop, called a smallish raise, then pushed a blank turn. (got stacked by AA).

Again, thoughts on the turn? If you get the money in, how much are you influenced by the above read?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (3 handed) from (Format: Bet The Pot)

BB ($535.60)
Hero ($402)
SB ($432.50)

Preflop: Hero is Button with [As], [Kd].
Hero raises to $14, 1 fold, BB calls $10.

Flop: ($30) [6d], [5c], [Kc] (2 players)
BB bets $16, Hero raises to $48, BB calls $32.

Turn: ($126) [5s] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $75, BB raises to $250

--------------Hand 3

Same table as hand 2, one orbit later!

Thoughts on my line?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (6 handed) from (Format: Bet The Pot)

saw flop|saw showdown

Effective stacks still $400!

Preflop: Hero is Button with [Ks], [As].

Flop: ($42) [7s], [Ts], [Jd] (2 players)
