Dealing with pressure from TAGs.
BB is a decent TAG.
Now when I write this I've got a bit of a twitch, because 2 hands before this he just called a raise from UTG and then called my pretty big reraise from the blinds with KJ and snapped off my cbet on a J9x flop in a decent sized pot.
We checked it down from there and he beat my 78 unimproved, so he saw what I did.
So I'm somewhat questioning my read on him; at the least I know he's capable of overplaying/getting out of line.
Prior to that hand I thought he'd probably view me as solidish but pretty active.
But we haven't been playing long so he won't have a strong impression.
Phew... so, how's my line here?
I considered just pushing the flop and hoping he'd call with a draw or decent K thinking I was tilting.
Stack sizes:
UTG: $562.00
Hero: $1021.50
SB: $1036.00
BB: $2247.00
Pre-flop: (4 players) Hero is Button with
UTG folds, Hero raises to $40, SB folds, BB calls.
Flop: ($85, 2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $60, BB raises to $150, Hero calls.
Turn: ($385, 2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks.
River: ($385, 2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $200
Then a few orbits later we have this one (same guy is BB).
Since we're semi-deep I wasn't exactly sure what to do if 3bet.
