Your strategy sounds good. Having 3 different PF styles will help. Since you have a tight image your going to pick up alot of pots uncontested until hopefully your opponents loosen up against you. Then you can tight up a bit. Keep them off gaurd. I play at WPX alot where I play the same ppl ALL day long. And I am generally tight but will loosen it up at times. With the hands you outlined. SCs and Smaller PPs; some gapped SCs. I also try to loosen up from EP as well just so its not obvious you have JJ+ AK. I occationaly will raise PPs (like 66 or what not) from EP. Often gettin' all folds; sometimes a call or 2 (which a cb usually works against), and then sometimes a re-raise (which i can call with my PP) and catch them completely off gaurd if a set hits. I would never raise trap hands like AT or KJ; QJ from EP. I think PPs or MAYBE smaller SC (56,67,78) would be the only exceptable hands to mix in there on a limited basis.
Also, your idea of raising AXo would be a bad idea. That hand has no value. So i agree with you on that. Maybe some AXs though.
Also, i limp with JJ at times. Play it for mostly set value and then for overpair in some situations. JJ is a mid-PP in desguise; IMO.Statistics: Posted by Spank_her_Pair — Sun Jul 16, 2006 10:59 pm
