Anyhow, hand 2 makes this guy look to me very station-ish... calling even the mini-raise with that hand seems weird to me, then further calling with gutshot and runner-runner... ?? Do you have that read prior to these hands?
If you're going to pay him off regardless of river, you might as well push the turn yourself, I suppose.
I dunno, against a station, I think I call with A8s, possibly even lay down. The 33 hand I'm not so sure about. Depending on flow of the game, I might double or triple the pot on the flop against a station. It does seem a bit outlandish to push the turn, but that's at least an option. And if he's really a station, I think you do have to fold the river, checking it to him might also be decent (and calling within reason). I think it really depends on your take of how he plays.
