what I mean is, say I have raised the last 3 hands I played and threw out a CB each time and won the pot.
the next time I do it I am definately checking the flop (especially if I am in position) because at the levels you are playing you are more likely to find people who will notice the continual aggression and start to put the old check raise on you to see if you really have a hand.
by mixing it up they start to wonder if you hit and are slow playing.
Often times I find when I get into this situation (won a number of pots without showdown) then I raise and get a caller. The flop comes, he checks to me, I check behind. The turn hits and I have a lot of options
I can raise if I have a hand and he bets.
I can fold if he leads and I missed
I can bet and win the pot if he checks to me again (most guys won't check a solid hand twice). In fact I often win hands by checking the flop and betting half the pot on the turn when they check to me again, people just assume I am slow playing something big.
anyway I think my point is you can easily fall into the trap of auto CBing and at the levels you are now playing you can't do that, there are enough solid players to pick those moves off, you need to mix it up
