if i was confident in my skills...i would call the flop and play poker on later streets. he's CB'ing here with missed overcards or low/mid PP's frequently, and a whole lot of turn cards will look bad to him. you can frequently bluff-bet or bluff-raise the turn and take this pot down against a good player.
if you just want to avoid playing a big pot...raise flop to $20 and don't put another dime in afterward. if you think he's better than you are...this is a simple way to get out cheap. but probably not the most +EV.
