i think his range after the flop play is 9-x or 55.
i agree that i probably shoulda just folded the turn if i was going to fold the river. but you guys see what i'm saying.....the turn + river are pretty bad cards here, all things considered. and i see no reason to compound a small mistake by making a bigger one.
one of the things that has helped me a lot with tribeca is really trying to figure out when the morons catch a hand. its easy to say "oh he'll play this way with TT, too." but i really don't think he will. or, maybe he will on the flop and turn.....but man that river bet is TT like never. and as someone said earlier...flop play is donk-speak for "i have a 9."
but the most important point: if i make a mistake in calling the turn...that DOES NOT mean that i have to commit to calling the river. if i screw up for $10, i'd rather admit it, give up that $10, and put it behind me. it's not a good reason to throw away $30 more.Statistics: Posted by ua1176 — Mon Oct 16, 2006 9:48 am
