In my limited 6-max experience, anybody who is pushing all-in over a bet on the river thinks they have the best hand, or is on a pure bluff. Nobody thinks they have the best hand on a 3-flush board unless they have some kind of flush. So this is definitely a flush over flush situation 90% of the time (the other 10% is bluffs). The only question is, are you on the winning or the losing end?
My rule of thumb in a situation like this (assuming no read that the guy is a major donk): call with the nuts (duh), call with the second nuts, maybe half-and-half call with the third nuts, and almost never call with the 4th nuts and below. Getting good pot odds changes things of course, but this is a big overbet. Plus he played it weak-then-strong which is almost always a monster.
