Hand #1
History. This guy re-raised my last 4 raises. He is a super lag and he is capable of betting with nothing or the nuts
He has $240 I cover
I raise A[d] 9[d] from the cut off to $8
he raises on the button to $20
I am the only caller
flop is A[s] 5[h] T[c]
I check, he checks (at this point i am worried about TT because he never checks)
Turn is a A[h]
I check again, he checks behind. I checked with the intent of either check raising or flat calling depending on his bet size, I did not expect him to check
River is a 4[c]
at this point I doubt he has me beat unless he has TT or 55, however I fully expected him to bet at this point
I check the river to him.
does anyone like this play? My read is my hand is 90% good here but if I bet and he raises I am put in a tough spot, however unless he does something really crazy I am calling the river bet.
thoughts or this line way too passive?
Hand #2 Sorry this may be standard
folds to the villian on the button (he has $120 I cover)
he raises to $8 I smooth call in the BB with A[s] K[s]
flop comes A[h] 5[s] 9[s]
I check with the intent of check raising. Normally I would lead out here but I was in a check raising kind of mood
he checks behind (ick)
turn is a J[c]
what line do you take here?
also how bad was the check on the flop?
