I dont want ATs folding preflop here because hes going to bet ANY flop (just like he did here). Its a much better idea to call his reraise and raise the flop (or continue to slowplay in some spots). My plan was to raise the flop, but when the flop was QQx, I decided to just call. I was way ahead or way behind and the odds of him catching up (if he doesnt have AA or a Q) are very slim.
If I just call the flop, I could easily have something like 88 and he will bet the turn again.
If I was a math expert. maybe I could one day figure out if calling the turn is OK. I will sometimes get even more momney out of him on the river but will sometimes get outdrawn. After much thought, I think pushing the turn is best because the pot is so big I dont want to take the chance of getting outdrawn and its also so big that he may call me with JJ.
As far as tilt goes, I had to turn off the computer immediately after the hand especially after the guy said I play very weak. I was about to come unglued. I dont think the play is weak. Its not like I was calling because I was afraid to get all in or anything. I called because at the time I thought it was the most +EV play and maybe it is, but next time Im pushing the turn anyway.Statistics: Posted by iceman5 — Wed Nov 01, 2006 8:45 pm
