IP:
AQ has more value when you just call a raise flop TP and play a middle sized pot collecting from hands like KQ, draws etc. It's important to be able to control the size of the pot as one shouldn't normally play for stack with one pair.
So I would recommend a call in position againsta normal 6max player, there are exceptions: I would reraise it against some one raising more than 15% of his hands.
OOP:
It gets trickier. I would mostly call heads-up, but I would sometimes reraise in a multiway pot. In a multiway pot I would sometimes fold AQo preflop if the table conditions are not good. Postflop it's not an auto-fold if I don't flop a pair. I would lead often on a low flop like T54 if I figure that PR is likely to miss it.Statistics: Posted by Zmej — Sat Nov 04, 2006 9:08 am
