I don't PT HU games, Weak-TAG in that he over-valuebets really big hands. I push him around a bit, so I have to mix things up. Was he fine with taking it down as is or did he want a call? Just 'cause he's a TAG doesn't mean that he's incapable of bluffing OOP, but when he does it, he's careful to not lose too much. These look the same as his weakTP's. Am I priced in? It doesn't look like much, but this is such a common situation and I've had a lot of different resposes on other forums.

This was a great flop for him to check-raise me off what's most probably the best hand and I figured my only value would come him bluffing at the pot on the turn. I've also been CB'ing a lot in this session.
Turn: ($36, 2 players)
BB bets $20, Double Gutted calls $20 (pot was $76).
I was gonna raise a lot of cards here to end the hand, but again this was a great card for him raise me with almost any 2 cards or call with a big hand and take me to Valuetown on the river with a monster. Again, I thought my best value would come from him betting the river with the worst hand. Before just calling this turn, I said to myself that the MOST I'd call to any non-painted river was $40. Bad thinking?

Dammit! He had to bet exactly $40? Go with it or lay it down?Statistics: Posted by DonkiFornication — Sat Dec 02, 2006 12:55 am
