These sorts of guys hardly ever lay down to one CB in position when they have overs - it's very hard to give generic advise without reads.
The better sort would drop a draw if you fire 3/4 pot again.
The worse sort are calling whatever and make their money when they hit and cling on like limpets.
Unless a 4 drops on the river you are in a tough position here OOP with 66 if you fire again and he calls.
Pot is $45 or so now - even half pot bets are gonna build a $200 pot by showdown.
I need to know - if I check is he going to bet 3/4 pot no matter what or might he check behind with draw or A5s os something?
Does he regularly float and fold to the second bullet?
Will he lay down hands like 77 and 88 if you bet out hard on the next two streets?
This why I don't raise low and medium pairs from EP pre-flop as a standard play - unless you set these are striclty small pot hands post-flop, so why escalate OOP against fancy/LAGgy players?Statistics: Posted by excession — Sun Mar 18, 2007 1:23 pm
